STREET DREAMS STUDIOS TOKYOは、2025年3月14日（金）よりChris Pyrate（クリス・パイレート）による個展「桜＝Cherry Blossom」を開催いたします。

クリスは桜が咲き誇るワシントンD.C.で生まれ育ちました。この桜の木は、1909年に日本からワシントンD.C.に贈られたものです。その作風は、過酷な環境で育ち、困難を乗り越えた経験が作品に影響を与え、桜の花をレジリエンスや故郷とのつながりの象徴としています。BAPEなどの日本文化にも影響を受け、力強さと繊細さを併せ持つ独自のスタイルを確立し、ニューヨークやマイアミでの活動を経て、NIKEやNBAともコラボをし、世界が最も注目する新進気鋭のアーティストです。

今回は日本でも有数の桜の名所である中目黒で、自家焙煎コーヒーとラテアートで見た目と味にこだわった一杯を提供するSWELL COFFEE ROASTERSとのコラボレーション展示となります。

また今回は作品展示以外にも、2020年にクリスが設立したアパレルブランドの商品も販売いたします。

STREET DREAMS STUDIOS TOKYO is pleased to present “Cherry Blossom,” a solo exhibition by Chris Pyrate starting Friday, March 14, 2025.

Chris was born and raised in Washington, D.C., where cherryblossom trees are in full bloom. This cherry blossom tree was a gift from Japan to Washington, D.C. in 1909. Influenced by Japanese culture such as BAPE, he has developed a unique style that combines strength and delicacy, and after working in New York and Miami, he has collaborated with NIKE and the NBA, he is one of the world's hottest up-and-coming artists.

This year's exhibition is a collaboration with SWELL COFFEE ROASTERS, which serves a cup of home-roasted coffee and latte art that is particular about appearance and taste in Nakameguro, one of the most famous cherry blossom viewing spots in Japan.

In addition to the exhibition, we will also be selling products from the apparel brand that Chris established in 2020.
